What we do
The Tech Shortlist publishes independent product reviews and buying guides in the consumer tech space. Every article is built around a clear recommendation — what to buy, what to skip, and who each product actually suits — rather than just restating manufacturer spec sheets.
How we pick and rate products
We research current-generation products, compare them against alternatives in the same price band, and score each one on build quality, features, performance, and value for money. Ratings are deliberately calibrated — we reserve the highest scores for genuine standouts and call out real weaknesses, not just strengths, so you can make an informed decision either way.
